The Lucero family have barricaded themselves in their home with Occupy Fights Foreclosure activists in an effort to keep sheriff’s deputies from evicting them and convince their mortgage lender to renegotiate their home loan.
The Luceros say Deutsche Bank is fraudulently foreclosing on them so they filed for bankruptcy and have until Oct. 26 to move. But they were evicted a month ahead of schedule and were forced to live in their car. That’s when they reached out to activists to help reclaim their house.
In this video sheriff’s deputies visited their East LA home and a crowd reminded them tbat they were breaking the law until deputies left.
